A Comparison of the Key Figures of Russia today with the Key Figures of Italy 30 days ago

When we compare the Average Daily Increase (7-day average) and the total number of Coronavirus infections of Russia today (30.04.2020) with the same key figures of Italy on March 31st (30 days ago) we observe that these values are very close – as can be seen in the Combined Chart of viastatistics. However, the Average Daily Increase of Russia is a little bit higher than the Average Daily Increase of Italy was 30 days ago.

Interpretation: Since the course of the Coronavirus infections in Italy has developed comparatively well during April due to the measures taken by the Italian government it can be assumed that the further development of the Coronavirus infections in Russia might be – in the best case – similar to what we have seen for Italy during the last 30 days.
